Building a Bright Future with a Helping Hand

What is My Job!

As counselor of a small school, I wear many hats. My most important job as counselor at Penrose School allows me the opportunity to help students to become more proactive both with academics and social issues.

Secondly, I help students deal with common life stressors that impact their academic, social, and emotional well-being. Examples of these common stressors children face are fear, making friends, bullying, loss, and academic performance.

Finally, I administer and interpret different testing for the school including CSAP.

As counselor, I collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and students.
